Six states are voting Tuesday, and their results will show whether Super Tuesday’s massive Biden surge continues—and possibly all but ends the primary—or whether this race has another realignment left in it. Sen. Bernie Sanders needs to show some strength this week, or he’ll face a major delegate deficit heading into some even more difficult weeks.

The six states voting Tuesday are Michigan (125 delegates), Washington (89 delegates), Missouri (68), Mississippi (36), Idaho (20), and North Dakota (14). Former Vice President Joe Biden has long been strongly favored in Mississippi, but recent polls show him seizing the lead from Sanders in Michigan and Washington. In fact, Data for Progress shows Biden ahead in Missouri, MississippiMichigan, Idaho, and Washington—and while there are few polls of North Dakota, at least one shows Biden favored there, too.
