Dominion is also seeking to understand Giuliani’s relationship with the network, how formal it was, and whether he was paid or unpaid.
Powell, who was originally part of Trump’s “Elite Strike Force” legal team, and Lindell, the conspiracy peddling CEO of MyPillow, have both been served with similar subpoenas.
In its lawsuit, Dominion claims the Fox network “sold a false story of election fraud in order to serve its own commercial purposes, severely injuring Dominion in the process.” The voting machine company Smartmatic is also suing Fox for $2.7 billion in a lawsuit filed in February.
Fox has maintained that it is “proud of our 2020 election coverage.”
To be fair, the outlet did have one good moment on election night when it correctly called Arizona for Joe Biden. Heh.
