Hillary Clinton reemerged on Sunday night to attack President Donald Trump at the Grammy Awards by reading excerpts from Michael Wolff’s “Fire and Fury.” However, it didn’t take long for this to backfire on Clinton in a huge way.
Daily Mail reported that the United States Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley took to Twitter to slam Clinton over the segment.
“I have always loved the Grammys but to have artists read the Fire and Fury book killed it. Don’t ruin great music with trash. Some of us love music without the politics thrown in it,” Haley said.

The Grammy Awards were anti-Trump from the start, as it opened with a performance from Kendrick Lamar that featured dancers in red hooded sweatshirts falling to the ground one-by-one as gunshots rang out. Former Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello spoke out against Trump’s decision to deport Dreamers in an impassioned speech, which she delivered just moments after paying tribute to the #TimesUp movement by joining Ke$ha to sing her nominated song “Praying.”
Clinton’s excerpt of “Fire and Fury” left many viewers feeling disgusted.
“He had a longtime fear of being poisoned – one reason why he liked to eat at McDonald’s. No one knew he was coming and the food was safely pre-made,” Clinton said.
This comes after Clinton took to Twitter on Friday night to post a video in which she praised “activist b—-es supporting b—-es.”

Fox News reported that the video shows Clinton thanking “everyone” for their feminism, activism, and encouraging supporters to keep up their “really important, good work.” When someone in the background makes a reference to “activist b—-es supporting b—-es,” Clinton repeats that it is indeed directed to such people.
“So lets go!” Clinton concludes.
The video was posted by Huffington Post personality Alex Mohajer, who told Mashable that Clinton was giving a shout-out to a group with the name “Activist Bitches Supporting Bitches.”
