JUST IN: The night that Fox News fired Eric Bolling, Bolling’s 19-year-old son Eric Chase committed suicide. Chase was Bolling’s only child.
Bolling was proud of his son, and would talk about him often on air. The teen just finished his freshman year at the University of Colorado.
Very sad news, Eric Bolling’s son, who was only 19, died last night. By all accounts, Eric was incredibly devoted to his son. Heartbreaking.

The teen took his own life because the sex scandal involving his father had become too much to handle. Last month, Bolling was accused of sending photos of his genitalia to female coworkers. After a one-month investigation, Fox News announced they were permanently parting ways with the former host of The Specialists.
Immediately following the scandal, Chase was being bullied due to the negative media attention his father was receiving.
It’s clear that Bolling loved his son deeply.
Eric Bolling had been a rising star at Fox News, where he hosted The Specialists as well as Cashin’ In. He had previously been a co-host on The Five.
This is a developing story. We will update it when more information becomes available.
