The Fox News family is in mourning this week after Eric Bolling’s 19 year-old son passed away last Friday hours after his father was fired. Now, Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle has spoken out to offer her condolences, and it’s clear that this loss hit her hard.
“[The Bollings] are in our prayers and the prayers of the entire Fox News family,” Guilfoyle said, according to Huffington Post. “Eric Chase brought so much love and joy to his parents’ life. If you watched our show over the years, you probably heard Eric proudly talk about his sweet son, who was a baseball player like his dad, playing left field.”
Fox News host Sean Hannity also payed tribute to Bolling’s son at the conclusion of his show on Monday.
“Just want to say to my friend, our thoughts and prayers are with you,” Hannity said. “We love you, and we’re thinking of you in this most difficult time.”
Eric Chase Bolling Jr. was found dead on Friday night in his bed at his dormitory at University of Colorado Boulder, where he was a student. Though an autopsy was completed on him on Monday, the cause of death will not be revealed for six to eight weeks.
Bolling Jr. was said to be in emotional turmoil in the weeks leading up to his death over the scandal involving his father. Boiling Sr. was fired from Fox News over allegations that he had sent lewd photos of himself to female colleagues.
Please keep the entire Bolling family in your thoughts and prayers!
